Gregory Cowles provides two small summaries of two books that are showing up in recent pop culture. The first book is Caitlyn Jenner’s memoir, which Cowles says buys more into the greediness that Jenner pursues in the spotlight. The book explains her life before she made her transition. The other book that Cowles reviews is of “The Operator”, a book by former Navy Seal Robert O’Neill telling the story of killing Bin Laden. Cowles makes a poke at O’Neill’s use of words humorously and says little about the book quality itself.
- There isn’t much to say about “Jenner” so people think, but there is a book called ” The sercrets of my life”.
- She went on a show with Bob hope after the olympics Dressing in drag and not wanting to show to much.
- She after the show finds a pair of heels that fit and “look good” on her so then she proceeds to “steal” them.
“Jenner discusses her ambivalence at becoming a macho role model after winning decathlon gold as Bruce Jenner, along with her early experiences cross-dressing and her attempts to reconcile her gender identity in a succession of doomed marriages.”
