The Man Booker Prize is an acclaimed novel recognition competition that picks six books to be nominated for the prestigious award. Four of the books chosen this year were no-brainers with authors who are commonly voted and who are past winners. Two of the novels, both by women have new authors whom have never been nominated before. One of the authors, Fiona Mozley who wrote Elmet didn’t even think her novel would be published.
