One Touch of Nature: Beatrix Potter and the World She Made

A bookseller company’s website has a review of a biography of Beatrix Potter, the creator of the Peter Rabbit series. The reviewer begins by writing about Potter’s major books, giving each a glowing review. Then he summarizes the biography, which covers Potter’s early life and home school education, her self publication of Peter Rabbit, discovery by Arthur Conan Doyle, and publication success. Potter stopped writing after her second marriage. The reviewer is positive about the biography, taking exception to overuse of semicolons. Many illustrations are included.
