‘The Alice Network’ Is A Crackling Tale Of Spies And Suspense

July 17, 2017 By Patrick Leave a Comment

The Alice Network is a tale of spies as well as suspense. The phrase “solve for x” is repeated many times. The story takes place after World War 2, and a character named Charlie is thrown together with a family veteran spy from the previous war in a high stakes journey to locate disappeared figures from the past. Her adventures turn out to be very messy ones in this gripping tale that all ages can appreciate.

Key Takeaways:

  • This novel is the post-WWII story of Charlie, a highly intelligent college student who experiences action, suspense, puzzles, and personal transformation in her journey.
  • An unwanted pregnancy leads to the heroine leaving college, escaping her controlling mother, and starting a search for her cousin lost in France during the war.
  • She joins forces with an ex-espionage agent and a former soldier to find her cousin, and they bond during the thrilling and demanding adventure.

“In The Alice Network, the lives of two indomitable women intertwine in a plot crackling with suspense.”
